I hate it when people leave competition-based reality TV shows for stupid reasons.
Last night, on The Biggest Loser, one of the guys walked out in the middle of the week because he missed his family. Like, are you kidding me?
First of all, there are people who would kill to have your spot. Whether you enjoy watching it or not, you have to admit that The Biggest Loser legitimately changes lives. It takes morbidly obese people and turns them A) hot and B) way more healthy.
Anyway, this jerk packs up and leaves like it's no big deal at all. He takes his luggage out into the kitchen and says he misses his family too much so he's leaving.
Like, really? You miss your family?
The thing about The Biggest Loser is that you're doing it for your family in the first place. These are people who are obese enough that they're up against high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc. These are all things that lead to you not being around as long with your family.
You really want to give up the chance to get healthy just because you miss them for a few weeks?
Also, with The Biggest Loser, you're on teams. Your team becomes like your family while you're there. This guy completely abandoned his team with the most lame excuse ever, AND the whole slogan of this season is "No excuses!"
Come on, guys.
