You know how when you're driving on the interstate, there are signs that tell you what restaurants, gas stations and hotels are at each exit?
And then, when you get off at the exit, there are signs that have each restaurant's logo, an arrow telling you which way to go and the distance it is away from the exit.
So highway people, please don't put McDonald's on the first sign when the second sign is just going to tell me it's 1.9 miles away.
Like, the whole point of putting a restaurant on the sign is because it's a convenient distance away.
If the restaurant is more than a mile away, it's not convenient.
I'm not trying to drive two miles down some country road to get to a McDonald's and delay my arrival time by fifteen minutes.
